"Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle;
be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray;
and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen"

Our "🕆 GUIDES" are designed as organized aids and a consolidation of specific topical information of Catholicism into well-formed components. GUIDES foster the primary objectives of our mission through digital media. Each Guide, as peices of a mosioac, incorporates a variety of resources to form a complete and whole picture of it's topic.
In the Roman Rite, the Mass is made up of two principal parts: (1) the Liturgy of the Word and (2) the Liturgy of the Eucharist. It begins with the Introductory Rites and ends with the Concluding Rites. Another way of dividing a Mass is into its "ordinary" parts—those texts which, with some variations, are part of the Mass on a daily basis—and its "proper" parts—the texts of prayers and selection of Scripture readings proper to the specific feast, feria or other occasion being observed.
RCIA stands for Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. RCIA is a process and a journey of Christian initiation. The process involves solemn and earnest study, personal and communal prayer, and the Rites at Mass.
Mariology is the study of Mary, the mother of Jesus. The field of Mariology includes dogmatic, doctrinal, and theological studies of Mary, and also the study of the veneration of Mary in popular piety, including prayer, art, liturgy, hymns, shrines, and other devotions.
Being "Catholic" isn't just a system of beliefs or a formal manner of worship. It's actually that of a lifestyle, lived both spiritually and physically. A part of that physical lifestyle we live as Christians is by making the Sign of the Cross -- an outward physical gesture which manifests an inward love for God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Lectio divina is a form of meditation rooted in liturgical celebration that dates back to early monastic communities. It was a method practiced by monks in their daily encounter with Scripture, both as they prepared for the Eucharist and as they prayed the Liturgy of the Hours. Its use continued in the Middle Ages in religious orders, such as the Benedictines and Carmelites, that not only practiced lectio divina daily but passed this treasure from the past on to the next generations. The practice of lectio divina is resurfacing today as a wonderful way to meditate on God's Word.
The word "catechesis" comes from the Late Latin word katēchēsis, which comes from the Greek word katēchein which means "to teach". Catechesis is a form of religious instruction that teaches the basics of the Christian faith. Catechesis is a life-long process of initial conversion, formation, education, and on-going conversion. It seeks to lead people to an ever deepening relationship with God. Catechesis shares certain features with Bible study, adult education, RCIA, or other forms of discipleship.
This portion of the website is in response to the call of the Dogmatic Constitution on Divine Revelation that "access to sacred Scripture ought to be open wide to the Christian faithful" (Dei Verbum 22).
The Bible, "Sacred Scripture" - Old and New Testaments - is a collection of religious texts or scriptures which are held to be sacred in Christianity. The Bible is an anthology, a compilation of texts of a variety of forms, originally written in Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. These texts include instructions, stories, poetry, prophecies, and other genres. The collection of materials that are accepted as part of the Bible is called the "biblical canon". Believers in the Bible, Sacred Scripture consider it to be a product of divine inspiration. The Christian Bible canon contains 72 books.
Bible Commentaries, Dictionaries, & Concordances.
An important note regarding "Bible Commentaries" is that commentaries take front seat in & with catechesis, which is the primary role for the Biblical Commentary text -- to teach (catechesis).
